Massive Fire Breaks Out at Dubai’s Torch Tower Again

Once again, Dubai’s tallest tower, Torch Tower, caught fire on Friday after 3:30 a.m, where Firefighters battled a blaze at the 84-story Torch tower near Dubai Marina in the United Arab Emirates, the Dubai Media Office said.


The fire started on the 63rd floor, said Dubai police commander-in-chief Major General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri.

He said, “We received a report of a fire. We thank God that there were no casualties, that because of the efforts of all teams on the ground… the residents were evacuated from this building to another one and there were no injuries.”


The Torch Tower has been successfully evacuated and the fire was under control, Dubai Media Office tweeted.

The cause of the fire has not been identified yet.
